Heads up before I tell my story: don't revise Fiverr gigs to move them into a different category because the link and URL will be all messed up!
My story: In my previous post I wrote about revising gigs so that there were more in line with my skills and what I want to offer. The gigs I revised were originally created in categories like graphic design instead of website programming. This weekend I was rereading the gigs and noticed that the URL still had the old gig name. For example, if the gig was previously titled "make an etsy logo" and I changed it to "make a wordpress site", the new gig still had a URL that read something like fiverr.com/make-an-etsy-logo. No bueno. When I contacted Fiverr support they replied that gig URLs cannot be modified and so they shouldn't be revised if the category needs to be changed. Instead the seller should create a new gig. Why? I don't know. That should be an easy fix. And if a seller changes category, then the stats should automatically restart to reflect the change.
So now I have to go back and delete those five gigs, then create five new ones. Pain in the butt.
